Restricted "Reduced Hour" Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Program
Liberty has been approved to offer the Restricted ATP program, commonly referred to as the reduced-hour ATP. This means our FTA students may only need as little as 1,000 or 1,250 hours of flight time instead of 1,500 hours to get hired as a First Officer at an Airline. This is dependent on minimum flight courses and core major courses taken with Liberty. Please contact us for more information on how to qualify for restricted ATP.
Liberty also has several hiring agreements with SkyWest, ExpressJet, American Eagle and Piedmont Airlines.
Aviation Related Major Courses
While Liberty University’s Flight Training Affiliate Program is partnered with Cessna Pilot Centers, the King Schools curriculum and online training is used. These are the same courses used at Pavco for their Part 141 flight training.
